CALL TO STEWARDSHIP

Weekly Deposits (Envelopes, loose, holy days, building maintenance, St. Vincent De Paul 3/18/2018: $ 4770.00 CALL TO STEWARDSHIP Through your generous Stewardship response in 2016 and 2017, we have been able to maintain, preserve and improve the physical plant of St. Brigid Church. We have been able to support our Religious Education Department through staff enrichment workshops; replaced gas lines from street along school roof line to classrooms; upgrade the heating system in the school; the new ceiling fans in the church; new electronic chime church bell system; re-surfacing of the school and church parking lots; replaced all classroom windows with tempered glass to be in compliance with the County of Los Angeles as oversite for the Charter School and the Archdiocesan Safeguard the Children policies. A new and revised ministry “giving” program will be detailed within the next few weeks. I am prayerful that the parish ministries of St. Brigid Church will continue to be generous in their spiritual and financial support.

~ REFLECTION ~

Today we reach the high point of the Christian year: Easter Sunday. Christ is risen! Jesus’ mission is complete. Just as Jesus had promised would happen, God raised him up on the third day. Jesus has redeemed us and has given us the hope of eternal life. Today we will renew our baptismal promises, rejecting sin and acknowledging the acceptance of our faith. Let us die to sin so that we can live in new life

~ REFLEXION ~

I Will Raise I will rise after every fall. I will rise And stand tall. I will rise over the wall. I will rise above them all. Like the sun, Which never dies. Though sets every night, Every day it does rise. Like the ocean whose tides Many times they are down But invariably they rise. Like the trees from seeds they arise And heights great they rise and rise. After falling once, twice and thrice, Again and again I will rise and rise. I will rise After every fall. After every fall I will rise.
