Installation guide „Swiss Map Mobile 2009 - Symbian S60 Edition“ for mobile phones e.g. Sony Ericsson, Samsung, etc. (without Nokia)

This guide excludes the sections acquired via Swisscom. Successful purchase transaction of the section in toposhop. The installer which has been provided by toposhop with a link is downloaded and executed (the map data and the application are copied onto the mobile phone).

In order to use the application „Swiss Map Mobile 2009 - Symbian S60 Edition“ with your mobile phone (no Nokia), it must be installed now. In this document, we provide a Step-byStep guidance. Please note that your mobile phone may have another menu guidance and layout, which is not covered by this installation guide. Therefore we refer to the corresponding explanations in the manual of your mobile phone.

Select „Menu“ -> „Organizer“ -> „File manager“ Click with the cursor once to the right (the content of the memory card is shown) Select the JAR-file „swiss_map_mobile_2009_symbian_s60.jar“ (It’s the second file in the list. The type of the file - „jar“ or „jad“ - is indicated under „Options“ -> „Information“) Select „Install“ With the question „Save in“ select -> „Applications“ With the question „Start now?“ select „No“. Press the red key (hang up) to return to the main view

The application Swiss Map Mobile 2009 does not read and does not modify the data of the user, e.g. SMS, Email, Contacts In certain Sony Ericsson mobile phones, the menu „Applications“ is under the „main Menu“ and not under „Organizer“ Sometimes „File manager“ is also named „My phone“.
