WE HELP SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE THROUGH HARD FINANCIAL TIMES Here's my Favorite (Funny) Family Christmas Story --

As a child, I always enjoyed Christmas! I enjoyed the anticipation of the Holiday, and, of course, the joy of receiving gifts, even though I did not receive many gifts when I was young since my family was not wealthy. Most of all, I enjoyed the magic of Santa Claus! While my children were young, I enjoyed dressing up as Santa Claus and delivering gifts, including one year when I delivered a puppy we adopted. We always made a big production of it. The kids and I would prop a ladder by their bedroom window in the afternoon for Santa to come down from the roof. When the kids went to bed, I would secretly dress up as Santa, go to the ladder, and ring loud jingle bells! They would come to the windows and yell in excitement! I would go through the front door and start placing the gifts under our Christmas tree. I LOVED seeing the looks on their faces as they believed in magic for a few seconds, which made me enjoy Christmas all over again! We went through this exciting Christmas tradition every year, which worked perfectly -- until about two years ago. That was when the kids started to suspect that every time Santa was in the house, Daddy was nowhere to be found. I thought ahead by locking my bathroom door whenever Santa was in the house, so I can later claim I was in the bathroom. But the kids were still skeptical. They threatened to find me the next time Santa was in the house. Last year, I knew I had to work extra hard. The Santa outfit had padding for the stomach area, eyebrows, a full beard, gloves and glasses -- everything to hide the person that was wearing the costume. My sister visited from out of town, so I taught her the ritual that I had, and I had her dress like Santa. As she descended the ladder with the bells, I went to my bathroom and waited. I knew the boys would run to the bathroom to prove that I was not there and that I was really Santa. As Santa came into the house, they ran to the bathroom, pushed the door open and ....I enjoyed seeing the shocked looks on their faces when they saw me come out of the bathroom to say hello to Santa. It was magically fun! I knew this was the last year I could get away with this. Of course, they have since figured it out. But I will still follow my tradition, which we will all enjoy nonetheless. The ritual will still be fun as it marks the special night as our family Holiday tradition. I wish you all a safe and happy Holiday Season. Esta es mi historia favorita y graciosa de Navidad con la Familia ... Desde niño, siempre disfruté de Navidad! Me ha gustado la anticipación de las vacaciones y, por supuesto, la alegría de recibir regalos, aunque no recibí muchos cuando yo era joven, ya que mi familia no era acaudalada. Aun así, difruté de la magia de Santa Claus! Cuando mis hijos eran más jóvenes, me gustaba vestirme como Santa Claus y darle los regalos, incluyendo un año cuando les entregué un cachorro que adoptamos. Siempre hicimos una gran celebración. Los niños y yo pondríamos una escalera junto a la ventana de su dormitorio en la tarde para que Santa bajará del techo. Cuando los niños se iban a la cama, secretamente me disfrazaba como Santa, subía por la escalera y sonaba los cascabeles! Los niños vendrían a la ventana y gritarían de emoción! Entonces, iría por la puerta principal y empezaría a ponerle los regalos bajo el árbol de Navidad. Me encantaba ver las miradas en sus caras como creían en la magia por unos segundos, lo que me hacía disfrutar de la Navidad una vez más! Disfrutábamos de esta apasionante tradición de Navidad cada año, que funcionó a la perfección--hasta hace unos dos años atrás. Fue entonces cuando los niños comenzaron a sospechar que cada vez que Santa estaba en la casa, papá se desaparecía. Me excusé diciendo que estaba en el baño, ya que siempre cerraba la puerta del baño cuando iba a darles la sorpresa, usando esto como ruta de escape. Pero los niños todavía no se lo creían. Amenazaron con buscarme la próxima vez que Santa estuviera en la casa. El año pasado, sabía que tenía que esforzarme aun más. El traje de Santa tenía la barba, las cejas, los guantes, las gafas y relleno para el área del estómago--todo para ocultar a la persona que llevaba el traje. Mi hermana, que vive en el extranjero, nos visitó. Así que yo le enseñé la tradición que tenía, y la hice vestirse de Santa Claus. Mientras ella descendía de la escalera con las campanas, me fui al baño y esperé. Sabía que los muchachos correrían al baño para demostrar que no estaba allí y que yo era realmente Santa. Cuando Santa entró en la casa, corrieron al baño, abrieron la puerta y... disfruté viendo sus caras sorprendidas cuando me vieron salir del baño para saludar a Santa. Fue mágicamente maravilloso! Sabía que era el último año que me saldría con esto. Por supuesto, desde entonces se han dado cuenta. Pero aún sigo mi tradición, que todos disfrutaremos. El ritual será divertido de todas maneras ya que marca esta noche especial como nuestra tradición navideña familiar. Les deseo a todos una segura y feliz Navidad.
