Did you feel the rain? I almost felt it up close and personal when a car spun out in front of me.

(during Sermon): Ages 9 and under

Water is very amazing. We can't live without it, yet we die with too much of it in the wrong places. It can send a two-ton truck sailing with less than an inch of water and can support a ship with tons of cargo in the ocean. God used it as a curse during the flood and blesses us with it in baptism. Water freezes and expands with such force it can crack a boulder. It evaporates and protects us. Water is very active and rarely inert. Water needs to be moving. If it finds itself in a place with nowhere to go it becomes a place of death. Consider the Dead Sea or even the Salton Sea.

College & Young Adult Connection

I was so amazed to see the extent of the rain. What a huge area God covered in the clouds that rained down on our world! And the rain kept coming. How much can the sky hold? Praise God for his eternal majesty and power!! Rain also reminds me of God's eternal nature. It shows God's love, kindness and mercy towards us because we need water. God provided for us before we knew we needed it and he continually provides fresh supplies. I am also reminded how God loves to shower us with his blessings so that we can be happy. 17 Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.” Acts 14:17 Feel the rain. Don't just get wet.

Si, el sol nace para todos dice la cancion aun para el que no cree beneficiandose de la ley de Dios que es perfecta, y nos da nueva vida. Salmos 19:12-14 Nadie parece darse cuenta de los errores que comete. ¡Perdóname, Dios mío, los pecados que cometo sin darme cuenta! ¡Líbrame del orgullo! ¡No dejes que me domine! ¡Líbrame de la desobediencia para no pecar contra ti! ¡Tú eres mi Dios y mi protector! ¡Tú eres quien me defiende! ¡Recibe, pues, con agrado lo que digo y lo que pienso!

On-Going Events SUNDAY MORNING: Bible Classes for all ages at 9:15a.m.. Donuts and coffee are provided in the kitchen before and after class. Worship Service at 10:15. Headsets for Spanish translation are provided during Worship Service. CHILDRENS BIBLE HOUR: Bible Hour for young children is located in the large classroom next to the kitchen. An announcement will be made to dismiss the children to the classroom. SUNDAY EVENING SMALL GROUP STUDY: Please see the insert for our “In the Word” Sunday Evening/Afternoon Bible Study locations. Group leaders are available for more information. SKY VALLEY WORSHIP & BIBLE STUDY: 3:30pm starts the combined Worship Service/In The Word Bible Study for the DHS/Sky Valley areas. LADIES’ TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY: Please join us for an uplifting study and fellowship with other women of faith every Tuesday morning from 10-11:30am. The current study is the book “Wild and Free”. MEN’S WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER: Wednesdays at 7:30a.m., the men meet at the church building for prayer and then go out for breakfast. WEDNESDAY NIGHT CLASSES: Wednesday Bible Class at 6:00p.m. SUNDAY SERMONS: Sunday Sermons can be accessed on YouTube under “Nick Macias” account.
