Dear Parents,

May Breakfast One of the most fun days for students each year is Field day. This day will be here before we know it. It is June 1 with a rain date of June 5.

Monday: Fruit cup/and or juice, WG cereal, Cheese Stick, and milk Tuesday: Fruit cup/ and or juice, WG crackers, Yogurt and milk

It is a day of fun outside! Each class wears a specific color (see below). This day includes an 8th grade vs Teacher volleyball game. We grill hot dogs and eat outside. Lastly popcorn and snow cones are enjoyed by all.

Wednesday: Fruit/and or juice,WG muffin or bagel, Cheese stick and milk, hard boiled egg Thursday: Fruit/and or juice, WG granola bar or WG crackers, Yogurt and milk Friday: Fruit/and or juice, WG cereal, Cheese stick and milk

We need lots of help on this day, please considering taking off of work and joining the fun. We need parents to help with lunch, popcorn and manning the games. Please email me if you can come at [email protected].

Spring STAR Testing John Paul II Academy, along with the other Siena Catholic Schools, will be administering the Early Literacy assessment and the Star Reading and Math assessments from May 1, 2018 - May 15, 2018. This third administration of the STAR assessment will continue to provide information on individual student growth in the areas of Reading and Math, and help the teachers plan instruction.

Scrip SCRIP??? What is SCRIP?? SCRIP is a new way of thinking about shopping. Many of the national, regional and local retailers want to help make private education more affordable. These retailers offer to sacrifice a percentage of their profit to those who buy their gift cards. The money from these retailers goes right to sports fees or tuition payments. Just purchase gift cards through the SCRIP program. With each purchase, 50% of the money donated by the retailer goes right into the tuition account of the purchaser. The remaining 50% goes to JPIIA. Participating retailers include grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, department stores, movie theaters, drug stores, specialty stores and more. 2018 JPIIA Carnival Teacher Raffle Teacher raffle will start on Tuesday May, 1st and end Friday, May 4 th. Students will be able to purchase raffle tickets each day during lunch. The winners will be drawn on Friday, May 4th during the carnival! Tickets are $1 each or 6for $5 for the main raffle items. The principal for a day and Gym teacher for a day, are $5 per ticket. Students may bring their money to school each day to purchase tickets at lunch. They may purchase as many times as they’d like throughout the week. John Paul II Academy
