Very innovative technologies are showcased including the award winning and worldwide first 4D massage "WellMassage4D", the MLX Quartz experience, the Libra horizontal shower, the power-napping experience "Spa.Wave System" and many more. On more than 1000 sqm the spa area Âme offers a large beauty salon, 18 treatment rooms and 22 spa tables, among which are the MLW Amphibia and the Ayurveda Bed.

One of the most innovative aspects of the Âme experience is the “collective.” With the goal of setting a new standard in luxury spa destinations, choosing the right partners was the key. Sammy Gharieni’s commitment to continuous innovation perfectly aligns with Âme Spa & Wellness Collective’s philosophy to curate revolutionary experiences. The basis for great treatments is the equipment. Partnering with the leading developer of spa beds was the first step in creating one-of-a-kind spa experiences. Turnberry Isle has been working with Gharieni for a year now. How did you get to know Gharieni? Jeff Klein: As the Executive Spa Director of Turnberry Isle Miami and an owner of Spa Management Solutions Inc. Tammy Pahel has known of the Gharieni Group for several years through attending spa shows and conferences in the USA, such as the International Spa Association and the Global Wellness Summit. Gharieni is known for elevating spa experiences through combining high technology and high touch. Tammy feels there is no other spa equipment company capable of keeping up with the high tech features as well as their sleek design and unique spa experiences. What do you appreciate most? Jeff Klein: With Gharieni Showroom at Âme Spa & Wellness Collective this allowed us to launch a one-of-a-kind experience, as no other spa in the USA offers all Gharieni experiences under one roof. Since Gharieni was already looking for

a showroom in the Miami area, Tammy suggested to have a "Living Showroom" for all his equipment that was an actual functioning, full-service spa. This way his clients could try out the equipment in a true spa setting and our clients/guest get to have the choice of a full array of Gharieni equipment. Which products of Gharieni do you use? What are the special features? Jeff Klein: To name a few Gharieni experiences: The LIBRA table provides an exceptional water experience, since its synchronized to music and water "dancing" along your body – it's used at the end of most of our body scrubs and wraps. Another experience is the AMETHYST QUARTZ MASSAGE using warm quartz to relax your muscle tissue in preparation of receiving a massage, enhanced with the use of two warm poultices. The SPA.WAVE and AMPHIBIA tables are similar since chroma or color therapy is built into the table. Our therapists are trained to help you select the color that will support and intensify the goals of your wellness treatment at Âme. WELLMASSAGE 4D is a totally new treatment concept that uses eight specific table positions to offer the highest possible comfort. This award-winning full body treatment combines high tech and high touch for a high relaxation experience. AYURVEDA SUITE combined with ayurveda products help promote health and harmony in the body. The shirodhara system is conveniently built into the table.

The quartz room is part of a £1 million development in the Galgorm Spa completed in July 2017. The redevelopment includes new Spa Gardens, a Halo Dome and additional features in the Thermal Village. The feedback for the two new treatments – the 90-minute Quartz Serenity Signature Ritual and the 60-minute Quartz Back Therapy – is great: 235 treatments were booked in only two months.

High-tech spa – yesterday, today and tomorrow Andreas Blum at the Tyrol Wellness Congress The demands of spa customers are growing steadily. Guests choose more selectively and individually, because they have precise expectations. They are specifically looking for hotels and spas which best meet their needs. At the same time, the technology in the spa sector is rapidly evolving, the different services merge and become holistic health concepts. There are no limits to the possible investments. Andreas Blum, head of treatment concepts at Gharieni, asked how much high-tech a spa in the German speaking countries and worldwide will need today and in the near future.

inside Merging in the Netherlands One location, three countries The manufacturer of exclusive wellness, spa and institute equipment has merged its branches in the Netherlands and Belgium to handle all the inquiries, wishes and needs of customers from the entire BeNeLux area (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg) from the new location. Gharieni BeNeLux moved into a new building with more than 1500 qm (17 000 sqft) of showroom, warehouse and research & development. The first Gharieni showroom in the province of Limburg opened its doors more than 16 years ago. The location now offers more space to test the products and get information about the treatments developed for the spa tables.
