Las Horas de Servicio para Confirmación incluyen su trabajo para la iglesia, en la comunidad, o en la escuela La Iglesia ~ Las oportunidades pueden incluir monaguillo, cantar/tocar en el coro, Liturgia de la Palabra para los Niños, ayudando con clases de Formación en la Fe, leer o hacer la colecta en la Misa, ayudando cum los eventos de KC o CCW, el festival, VBS y Totus Tuus. La Comunidad ~ Se puede ayudar a un vecino con tareas como el cuidado de césped, rastrillar hojas, palear nieve, limpiar después de una tormenta. Para ser servicio, no puede aceptar el pago por esos. También puede hacer tareas por 4H, la ambulancia, la biblioteca, Food Shelf, Thrift Shop, etc. La Escuela – las opciones incluyen la limpieza de zanja (a través del Concilio Estudiantil), ayudando con los deportes, ayudando en eventos de ECFE, etc. Una vez que yo haya establecido la mejor manera de ponerme en contacto con ustedes, puedo enviar un mensaje a todos. Las horas de Confirmación no incluyen actividades para su familia (como niñera, ayudando a sus abuelos, trabajando en su cabaña, las tareas del hogar, etc.) - ¡porque es lo que hacemos como parte de una familia! Tampoco incluye trabajando en su trabajo sin pago. Les queremos hacer algo desinteresado, como Cristo nos pide. Serán otras oportunidades en los días siguientes. Construya su lista con descripciones de tareas, las personas de contacto, fechas, y número de horas (a menos de 30). Me reuniré con su clase varias veces durante el año para ver cómo les va y darles más información e instrucciones para su Confirmación en la primavera.

Confirmation Service Hours may include giving your time to church, community or school. Church – altar serving, singing in choir, Hispanic music ministry, children’s liturgy, helping with Faith Formation classes, lector or usher during Mass, helping out with KC or CCW events, Parish Festival, VBS, Totus Tuus. Community – You can help out a neighbor or stranger with things like lawn care, leaf raking, snow shoveling, storm clean-up. You may not accept payment for any of these in order to qualify for service. You can also do volunteer tasks through 4H, Ambulance, Library, Food Shelf, Thrift Shop, etc. School – options may include ditch cleaning (through student council), helping with youth sports or camps, helping at ECFE events, etc. Other opportunities come up throughout the year. I will contact you with these as soon as I am given notice. Confirmation hours do not include activities for your family (like babysitting, helping grandparents, working at your cabin, household chores, etc.) - because that is what we do as part of a family! It also would not count to work at your job for no pay. We aim for you to reach out and do something self-less – as Jesus asks. Build your list including task descriptions, contact people, dates and number of hours – totaling 30! I will meet with your class throughout the year to see how you’re doing and give further information and instructions for your Confirmation next spring.
