Passengers arriving at the airport by taxi can ask the taxi to drop them off directly in front of the terminal in the Kiss & Fly zone at departures (level 1). It is then just a short walk to the checkin counters and airport security. Passengers leaving the airport will find the taxi rank directly adjacent to the eastern exit (Ausgang Ost) at arrivals (level 0).

Für Reisebusse und Lieferanten gibt es eine Haltefläche bzw. Be und Entladezone auf der Ankunftsebene (Ebene 0). Bitte nutzen Sie dazu zunächst die Zufahrt zur Tiefgarage P1 und halten Sie sich rechts. Lieferanten müssen sich über die Rufsäule anmelden – für Busse ziehen Sie ein Ticket zur Nutzung der kostenpflichtigen Busspur (Gebühr: 1,00 Euro je 10 Min.). Die Durchfahrtshöhe beträgt 4 m, die Tonnagebegrenzung max. 22 t. There is a stopping, loading and unloading area for buses and suppliers at arrivals (level 0). Please follow the route to underground car park P1 and bear right. Suppliers are required to register via the help point – buses take a ticket allowing them to use the bus lane for a fee of €1 per 10 minutes. Cars are also returned on level 0 – the parking areas of the various car rental companies are signposted. If you return a car outside the rental company’s office hours, you can drop the car key and documentation in the locker of the appropriate company at the eastern exit (Ausgang Ost) on level 0, in the immediate vicinity of the taxi rank outside the terminal building.

Dortmund Airport is located to the east of the Ruhr Area, can be reached quickly by all major roads and has good links from all directions. It can be conveniently accessed via the A40 (B1) and A44. As Dortmund Airport is not located within a low-emission zone, you do not require an emissions certificate for your vehicle. When you arrive at the airport, over 5,100 parking spaces are available at prices starting from €2 per hour.

Kassenautomaten zum Bezahlen der Parkgebühr befinden sich an den jeweiligen Parkplätzen. Da die Karenzzeit nach dem Bezahlvorgang ca. 15 Minuten beträgt, empfiehlt es sich, die Kassenautomaten an den jeweiligen Parkplätzen/-häusern zu nutzen. Diese gilt auch während der Hauptsaison. Parkplatzsuchende, die auf den Parkplätzen P3, P6 oder P7 keinen freien Stellplatz finden, können zum gleichen Preis im Parkhaus P2 parken. Bitte berücksichtigen Sie, dass falls Sie auf das Parkhaus P2 ausweichen müssen, eine Anpassung Ihres Parkscheines notwendig ist. Melden Sie sich daher bitte innerhalb von 60 Minuten nach der Einfahrt in das Parkhaus P2 bei der Parkleitzentrale auf der Ankunftsebene im Terminal des Dortmund Airport. From now on Dortmund Airport is offering a guarantee regarding its cheapest parking spaces in Car Parks P3, P6 and P7, even during the high season. Behindertenstellplätze | Disabled parking Fluggästen mit Behinderungen bietet der Dortmund Airport die Möglichkeit, in den Parkhäusern (P1 und P2) auf den ausgewiesenen Flächen kostenlos zu parken. Voraussetzung hierfür ist ein Schwerbehindertenausweis mit den Merkzeichen „aG“ (außergewöhnlich gehbehindert), „Bl“ (blind), „H“ (hilflos) oder „B“ (ständige Begleitung erforderlich). Wichtig: Das kostenfreie Ausfahrticket wird nur am Tag des Rückflugs direkt am Informationsschalter ausgehändigt – die Bordkarte ist hierbei ebenfalls vorzulegen. Wir bitten um Ihr Verständnis, dass eine nachträgliche Rückerstattung nicht möglich ist. Dortmund Airport offers disabled passengers the opportunity to park for free in the P1 and P2 car parks in the spaces set aside. A precondition for this is that you have an official disabled person’s pass. With non-German documents, you can enquire about validity at the Information desk.
