MEDIA RELEASE ANTI-DOPING – SOCHI 2014 22 RUSSIAN ATHLETES FILE APPEALS AT THE COURT OF ARBITRATION FOR SPORT (CAS) Lausanne, 6 December 2017 – The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has registered 22 appeals filed by Russian athletes against decisions taken by the Disciplinary Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC DC). The IOC DC found the athletes to have committed anti-doping rule violations during the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games, disqualified them from the events in which they participated at the Games and forfeited all medals won by them. The athletes were also declared ineligible to participate in any capacity in all subsequent editions of the Olympic Games. The athletes concerned are: Aleksandr Zubkov (bobsleigh) Dmitry Trunenkov (bobsleigh) Aleksei Negodailo (bobsleigh) Alexander Kasyanov (bobsleigh) Aleksei Pushkarev (bobsleigh) Ilvir Khuzin (bobsleigh) Olga Stulneva (bobsleigh) Aleksander Tretiakov (skeleton) Sergei Chudinov (skeleton) Elena Nikitina (skeleton) Olga Potylitsyna (skeleton)
