ANNOUNCEMENTS LORD’S SUPPER: OCTOBER 1ST @ MORNING SERVICE — Our celebration of the Lord’s Supper is scheduled for Sunday, October 1st in the morning worship services. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: PICK UP A SHOE BOX — Christmas is around the corner! The 2017 Operation Christmas Child (OCC) campaign continues. OCC, a project of Samaritan’s Purse, delivers shoe boxes packed with gifts along with the Gospel of Jesus to children in over 150 countries. This year we have set a goal for our church to donate 150 filled boxes. Please pick up a box or 2 today. See Amanda Bustos at the table outside. AUTO MINISTRY WORK DAY: NEXT SATURDAY @ 8A–12P — Is your car making a funny noise? Is there a light on in the dash? Are your brakes squeaking? Well, let's have a look at it. Auto Ministry is designed to serve the elderly, widows, and single moms. All others are welcome. Be sure to fill out and turn in an Auto Ministry form in the foyer before September 30th. SPECIAL OFFERING — September is California Mission Offering (CMO) month, a time to specifically pray and give for the work of Christ in California. Goal: $2,000. Received: $160.

TONIGHT @ 5 P.M.: ENGAGE BIBLE STUDY — Join us tonight as we study the topic of Worship. Bring your Bible and something to write with. We meet upstairs in Room 207. SAVE THE DATE: SATURDAY NIGHT, OCTOBER 14TH — Join us as we spend an evening with students from The Master's University. More details to come. MONDAY NIGHT, NOVEMBER 13TH — We have a limited number of seats reserved for a viewing of Genesis: Paradise Lost in 3D at Cerritos. Please speak to a youth leader if you would like to attend. GETTING CONNECTED FAMILY LIFE GROUPS — FLGs are weekly in-home gatherings for Bible study and fellowship. To join, see a list of available groups in the foyer, or call the church office for information. CHILD CARE — Child care is available during the worship services for children up to 5th grade. Infants may be dropped off BEFORE the service. Toddlers and elementary-age children may be dropped off AFTER the worship songs. CONTACT CARD (BLUE) — If you are a first-time visitor, we would like to find out how we can best serve you. Please fill out a blue contact card, and drop it in the offering plate. REFRESHMENTS — Join us for coffee and refreshments every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in our parking lot. Take this time to introduce each other and make new friends.
