No one thinking of organizing an expedition to the Afghan Hindu Kush should be without this very useful booklet, written by Wolfgang Frey, who knows more about climbing in this region than anybody else. This is in fact the second such volume to be published by him. It contains a bibliography of climbing articles, maps, photos and information on approaches and climbs in the central Hindu Kush. This is a most helpful booklet.
