Installation Instructions for AX-ADMZ01
AX-ADMZ01
Caution: Metra recommends disconnecting the negative battery terminal before beginning any installation. All accessories, switches, and especially air bag indicator lights must be plugged in before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition.
The AX-ADMZ01 is designed to and must be used with the AX-ADBOX1 or AX-ADBOX2 (sold seperately). Please refer to AX-ADBOX1 or AX-ADBOX2 for 16-pin connector instructions.

• Connect the White wire to the left front positive speaker output of the aftermarket radio. • Connect the White/Black wire to the left front negative speaker output of the aftermarket radio. • Connect the Gray wire to the right front positive speaker output of the aftermarket radio. • Connect the Gray/Black wire to the right front negative speaker output of the aftermarket radio.

Only make the following connections if the vehicle is amplified. • Connect the Green wire to the radio’s left rear positive speaker output. • Connect the Green/Black wire to the radio’s left rear negative speaker output. • Connect the purple wire to the radio’s right rear positive speaker output. • Connect the purple/Black wire to the radio’s right rear negative speaker output. Note, the following wires are not used in this application: • red, light Green, Blue/pink, Green/purple. Interface components

Connect the Black wire to the radio’s ground wire. Connect the red wire to the ignition wire of the aftermarket radio. Connect the Yellow wire to the radio’s 12 volt battery or memory wire. Connect the orange wire to the illumination wire of the aftermarket radio. If the aftermarket radio has no illumination wire, tape off the orange wire. • Connect the Blue wire to the radio’s antenna turn on wire. • • • •

WIrInG tHe aX-admZ01 (continued) Only make the following connections if the vehicle is non-amplified. • Connect the Green wire to the radio’s left rear positive speaker output. • Connect the Green/Black wire to the radio’s left rear negative speaker output. • Connect the purple wire to the radio’s right rear positive speaker output. • Connect the purple/Black wire to the radio’s right rear negative speaker output. • Connect the Green/purple wire to the reverse wire of the aftermarket navigation radio.
InstallInG tHe aX-admZ01 • Reconnect the negative battery terminal. • Cycle the key, by turning the ignition on for 30-seconds. Then off and on again to test the radio.

1. Turn the radio on and check balance and fader controls for proper operation. 2. Start the vehicle and check all A/C operations. setting the oe clock using the service harness 1. Make sure the vehicle is in the off position. 2. Plug in the OEM radio and turn on the ignition. 3. Set the time. 4. Shut off the vehicle and unplug the factory radio. 5. Tuck the service harness back in the dash. asWc-1 (if installing) After the interface is initialized, plug in the ASWC-1 into the 12-pin harness of the AX-ADMZ01 and refer to the ASWC-1 instructions.

Sólo hacer las siguientes conexiones si el vehículo se amplifica. • Conecte el cable Verde a la izquierda de salida positivo del altavoz posterior de la radio. • Conecte el cable Verde/Negro a la izquierda salida negativa del altavoz posterior de la radio. • Conecte el cable Púrpura a la derecha la salida del altavoz positivo trasera de la radio. • Conecte el cable Violeta/Negro a derecha salida negativa del altavoz posterior de la radio. Tenga en cuenta los siguientes cables no se utilizan en esta aplicación: • Rojo, Verde claro, Azul/Rojo, Verde/Púrpura. Desde el conector de 24 vías: • Conecte el cable Negro al cable de tierra de la radio. • Conecte el cable Rojo al cable de encendido de la radio no original. • Conecte el cable Amarillo a la batería de voltio de la radio 12 o alambre de la memoria. • Conecte el cable Naranja al cable de iluminación del radio no original. CONEXIóN DE LOS CABLES DEL AX-ADMZ01 (continúa) Sólo hacer las siguientes conexiones si el vehículo no es amplificada. • Conecte el cable Verde a la izquierda de salida positivo del altavoz posterior de la radio. • Conecte el cable Verde/Negro a la izquierda salida negativa del altavoz posterior de la radio. • Conecte el cable Púrpura a la derecha la salida del altavoz positivo trasera de la radio. • Conecte el cable Violeta/Negro a derecha salida negativa del altavoz posterior de la radio. • Conecte el cable Verde/Púrpura con el cable de marcha atrás de la radio de la navegación del mercado de accesorios.
INSTALACIóN DEL AX-ADMZ01 • Reconecte la terminal de la batería negativa. • Cicle la llave, encendiendo la ignición durante 30 segundos. Después apague y encienda de nuevo para probar el radio.
PRUEBA DEL AX-ADMZ01 1. Encienda el radio y revise los controles de balance e intensidad para determinar su correcta operación. 2. Encienda el vehículo y revise todas las operaciones del aire acondicionado. Configuración del reloj de fábrica con el arnés de servicio 1.
