“OPT OUT” of FUNDRAISING Did you have a chance to look over the new “Opt Out” Fundraising option? If this is something that you feel fits your family to contribute without the fundraising burnout - form and money are due Friday, September 20th. “Hard Lockdown Drill”
Locust School will be practicing a mandatory “lockdown” drill on Wednesday, September 25th. Drills are practiced throughout the year to ensure the safety of students and staff during an emergency situation. Locust will NOT simulate an active shooter – but we will practice securing the students in the classrooms and releasing the students from the classrooms while police are present. Please talk with your child(ren) about the importance of these drills.
Settler’s Days October 10-13, 2019 Looking for Settlers’ Days Prince and Princess Contestants! Any boy or girl ages 4 -7 are eligible to participate. Pageant will be held on Thursday, October 10th in the evening at the Marengo Middle School Auditorium. The child will dress appropriate to the “Early Settler’s Period/Era”. PBIS Wheelie Day- "Let it Roll" Our next PBIS reward day is Wheelie Day- "Let it Roll" on Friday, Sept. 27th. We will provide students with bicycles, skateboards, and other fun "wheelie" things. Supervision will be provided. Students WILL NOT bring their own "wheels" this year. Students must stay on green or better 13/18 days in order to participate. Locust Escuela será practicar obligatoriamente una "Lockdown" perforar el miércoles, 25 de septiembre. Días de Settler del 10-13 de octubre de 2019 Buscando en los Días de Los Colonos, ¡los concursantes de Príncipe y Princesa! Cualquier niño o niña de 4 a 7 años es elegible para participar. El desfile se celebrará el jueves 10 de octubre por la noche en el Auditorio de la Escuela Secundaria Marengo. El niño se vestirá apropiado para el "Período/Era del Settler Temprano". El Día de PBIS Wheelie - "Le dejó Rollo" Nuestro próximo día de recompensa de PBIS es Wheelie Día- "Le dejó Rollo" el viernes 27 de septiembre.
