24 OURS are a new band just hitting the music scene in Europe at the moment. The Germany based band are fronted by the Scottish Singer and Songwriter Eddie Mc Grogan, complimented by Reiner Wyen (Bass, Guitar, Vocals), Jürgen König-Maatje (Drums), Stefan Hasenburg, Keyboards and Vocals, Günther Holtmann (Guitar) and Ina Kloster (Vocals). The” Who’s Who” of the previous projects from these band members is an endless list of first class addresses with Cochise, Phillip Boa, Geier Sturzflug, Afterwords, The Price and Anna and the Virulents being just a few of the stations where these 6 excellent musicians contributed their skills. It’s hard to describe or classify the genre of 24 OURS because their material is so varied and diverse. Omni-Pop is the term that comes to mind, Modern Rock Hymns, paired with Soulful Ballads, Ska-songs, bouncing off Punk and Reggae songs and all of these styles being held together by a singer and a band who have definitely found and created their “Own Sound.” All of this then wrapped up in a tight explosive dynamic stage performance package, which is delivered with a vengeance.

24 OURS sind eine neue Erscheinung am europäischen „Rock Himmel.“ Die in Deutschland beheimatete Band hat als Frontman den schottischen Sänger und Songwriter Eddie Mc Grogan. Mit von der Partie sind Reiner Wyen-Bass und Gesang, Jürgen König Maatje-Schlagzeug, Stefan Hasenburg- Keyboards und Gesang, Günther Holtmann-Gitarre und Ina Kloster-Gesang. Die endlose Liste der früheren erstklassigen Projekte bei denen diese 6 Bandmitglieder ihr talentiertes Können beisteuerten, liest sich wie ein „Who‘s Who“ der Rock Geschichte. Dabei gehören Namen wie „Cochise“, „Phillip Boa“ „Geier Sturzflug“, „Afterwords“, „The Price“ oder „Anna and the Virulents“ zum Tagesgeschäft. Die obligatorische Schubladen- Frage ist eine, die bei 24 OURS nicht so leicht zu beantworten ist. Omni-Pop wäre ein Begriff, der sich hier gut einfügen ließe. Moderne Rockhymnen paaren sich mit gefühlvollen Balladen und SkaSongs prallen auf Punk- und Reggae- Songs. Das alles wird zusammen gehalten von einem Sänger und einer Band, die definitiv ihren „Eigenen Sound“ gefunden und kreiert hat. Das ganze Paket ist zusammen geschnürt in einer dynamischen, explosiven Bühnenperformance, die abgeliefert wird, als ob es kein Morgen mehr gäbe.
