Globaler Marktzugang mit dem UL Prüfzeichen Global Market Access with the UL Certification Mark Underwriters Laboratories (UL) wurde 1894 gegründet und ist eine unabhängige Organisation, die Produkte hinsichtlich ihrer Sicherheit untersucht und zertifiziert. Das UL Prüfzeichen ist als Nachweis der Konformität eines Produkts mit US-amerikanischen und kanadischen Sicherheitsanforderungen weithin bekannt und anerkannt. Kein anderes Prüfzeichen hat einen vergleichbaren Stellenwert. Deshalb haben wir uns bei Binder entschlossen, viele unserer Produkte UL zertifizieren zu lassen und ständig daran zu arbeiten, weitere Produkte diesem Zertifizierungsprozess folgen zu lassen. Alle unsere UL zugelassenen Produkte sind sowohl für den USamerikanischen Markt als auch für den kanadischen Markt zugelassen.

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) was founded in 1894 and is an independent organization that inspects and certifies the safety of products. The UL Certification Mark is well-known and recognized for the certification of conformity of a product with US American and Canadian safety requirements. No other certification mark has a comparable standing. This is why we at Binder have decided to apply for UL certification for many of our products and will continuously strive to include further products in this certification process. All of our UL-certified products are approved both for the US American market and for the Canadian market.

Anerkannte Komponenten für funktionale Sicherheit Proven Components for Functional Safety Das UL Listed-Prüfzeichen erscheint auf Endprodukten und vollständigen Komponenten, die für eine werkseitige Installation oder Montage am Einsatzort geeignet sind. Alle Produkte mit dem UL Listed-Prüfzeichen sind durch das Follow-Up-Services-Programm von UL abgedeckt. Damit wird überprüft, dass Endprodukte und Komponenten, die das UL Listed-Prüfzeichen tragen, auch weiterhin unter Einhaltung der UL Sicherheitsanforderungen hergestellt werden.

Das C UR US-Prüfzeichen für anerkannte Komponenten zeigt die Übereinstimmung mit den kanadischen und den US-amerikanischen Anforderungen an. Alle Komponenten mit dem UL-Prüfzeichen für anerkannte Komponenten sind durch das Follow-Up-Services-Programm von UL abgedeckt, mit dem die weitere Einhaltung der UL Anforderungen ermittelt wird.

Im Zuge der stetigen Erweiterung des M16 SteckverbinderProgramms, hat Binder für die Flanschstecker in den gängigsten Polzahlen, eine Ausführung mit Schirmanbindung auf die Leiterplatte aufgelegt. Die Schirmanbindung erfolgt über einen fest mit dem Flanschgehäuse verbundenen Stift direkt auf die Leiterplatte. Lieferbar sind Versionen von vorne verschraubbar mit Tauchlötkontakten in den Schutzarten IP40 und IP67. Die Artikel können ab sofort bezogen werden.

As part of the continuing expansion of the M16 connector range, Binder has introduced a male panel mount connector version with shield connection on the printed circuit board in the most common contact arrangements. The shield connection uses a pin fixed to the panel mount connector housing connected directly to the printed circuit board. Versions that can be fixed from the front with dip-solder contacts in degrees of protection IP40 and IP67 are available. The articles are available right now.

Bisher hatte Binder nur M8 Einbaustecker für Sensorrohrmontage mit LED-Bohrungen im Programm. Da viele Kunden nur Einbaustecker ohne LED-Bohrungen verwenden, ist Binder diesem Trend gefolgt und bietet diese Versionen zusätzlich an. Das Metallgehäuse besitzt einen Einpressbereich mit Dichtwülsten. Als Einpressbohrung empfehlen wir 5,77 + 0,03 mm. Der Durchmesser kann in Abhängigkeit von verwendetem Material, Wandung und Dicke abweichend sein. Der Elektronikanschluss erfolgt über Tauchlötkontakte.

Up to now, Binder only had M8 receptacle for sensor-tube installation with LED hole in their range. Since many customers use only receptacle without LED holes, Binder is following this trend and is now offering these versions. The metal housing has a press-fit area with sealing beads. We recommend 5.77 + 0.03 mm for the press-fit hole. The diameter may vary depending on the material used, the walls and the thickness. The electronic connection is made using a dip-solder contact.

Bei Frontplatten am Kundengehäuse ist es üblich, nicht benutzte Steckverbinderdurchbrüche mit Blindverschraubungen zu verschließen. Da es diese Blindverschraubungen handelsüblich nicht gibt, hat sich Binder entschlossen, diese als Zubehör in das Standard-Programm mit aufzunehmen. Zunächst bieten wir die gängigsten Gewinde an – Erweiterungen sind, abhängig vom Bedarf, möglich und in Planung. Der Vorteil dieser Verschraubungen ist, dass die Verdrehsicherung des Montageblechs integriert ist. Die Verschraubungen werden mit Befestigungsmutter geliefert, es ist jedoch möglich, diese auch im Gewinde im Montageblech einzuschrauben. Ein Schlitz auf der Frontseite erleichtert das Einschrauben mit handelsüblichen Werkzeugen.

It is common practice to close off unused connection through-holes on the front panels of customer housings with dummy plugs. Since these dummy plugs are not commercially available, Binder has decided to incorporate these as accessories in its standard program. Initially, we will be offering the most common thread types – plans to expand the range according to demand are underway.The advantage of this threaded joint is that it integrates the anti-torsion safety device for the mounting plate. The threaded joints are supplied with fixing nut; they can also be screwed into the thread on the mounting plate, however. A slot on the front makes for easy fastening using commercially available tools.

Kundenseitig besteht der Wunsch, die Binder-Flanschsteckverbinder selbst zu konfektionieren. Um hier flexibel auf kleineren Bedarf reagieren zu können, bieten wir unsere Flanschsteckverbinder auch mit Lötkontakten an. Bei den bisherigen Metall-Versionen waren die Kontakte zu tief im Gehäuse angeordnet, so dass das Anlöten schwierig war. Jetzt sind die Lötkelche so angeordnet, dass diese leicht aus dem Gehäuse herausragen. Dies hat zur Folge, dass die Lötenden nicht mehr durch einen Verguss umschlossen werden können, was sich eventuell auf die anzulegende Spannung auswirken kann. Beide Versionen sind wahlweise in Metall- oder Kunststoffgehäusen lieferbar. Andere Gehäusebauformen und Kodierungen sind optional möglich.

Customers want to assemble their Binder panel mount connectors themselves. To enable a versatile response to low-quantity demands, we also offer our panel mount connectors with solder contacts. In previous metal versions, the contacts were installed so far into the housing that it was difficult to solder them. The solder cups are now arranged such that they protrude out of the housing slightly. This means that they can no longer be surrounded by potting compound, which can have detrimental effects on the voltage to be applied. Both versions are available in metal or plastic housings. Other housing designs and types of coding are available as options.

Bisher hatte die Firma Binder bei den M12-Flanschsteckverbindern nur Steckerversionen mit Befestigungsgewinde M20 x 1,5. Jetzt sind auch Dosenversionen mit diesem Befestigungsgewinde lieferbar. Damit ist es möglich, statt gängiger Verschraubungen auch Steckverbinder in Gehäuse einzuschrauben und damit Geräte bzw. Schaltschränke steckbar zu machen. Die Befestigung mit einer Mutter aus unserem Zubehör ist selbstverständlich möglich. Die Steckverbinder dichten zur Gehäusewand mit dem montierten O-Ring und erfüllen, gesteckt mit dem Gegenstück, die Schutzklasse IP67. Für den Montageausschnitt im Kundengehäuse gilt die Empfehlung der Zeichnung auf der rechten Seite. Die Gehäuse sind aus Messing vernickelt und die Kontakte mit Goldoberfläche ausgelegt. Die Flanschstecker und -dosen werden bei Binder mit 200 mm langen Litzen vorkonfektioniert. Die Litzenlänge ist vom Kunden konfigurierbar.

Up to now, Binder only had male versions with M20 x 1.5 fixing thread for its M12 panel mount connectors. Now, female versions are available with this fixing thread. This also allows connectors to be screwed into the housing instead of conventional threaded joints, which makes units and control cabinets connectible. Of course, it is also possible to make the fastening using a hexagon nut from our range of accessories. The o-ring assembled on the connectors seal it off to the wall of the housing and, when the mating part is connected, fulfils IP67. For the panel cut out the recommendations of the drawing on the right side should be followed. The housings are made of nickel-plated brass and the contacts have a gold plating. The male and female panel mount connectors come fully assembled by Binder and have 200 mm long single wires. The length of the single wires can be adapted to the customer‘s request.

Nachdem sich die 8-poligen M12-Steckverbinder immer mehr am Markt verbreiten, erweitert Binder die 4- und 5-poligen gewinkelten Versionen um eine 8-polige Ausführung. Damit ist es möglich, die Leiterplatte liegend im Gerät anzuordnen. Der Kontakteinsatz wird nach dem bewährten Prinzip in die Leiterplatte eingerastet und im Schwall-Lötverfahren kontaktiert. Anschließend erfolgt die Montage der Leiterplatte im Gerät, bei der die Steckverbinderkörper durch die eingeschraubten Gehäuse geschoben werden. Durch ein optionales Schirmblech wird der Kontakt vom Gehäuse zur Leiterplatte hergestellt. Zur Abdichtung zwischen Gehäuse und Kontakteinsatz kann bei Bedarf ein O-Ring 8 x 1 eingesetzt werden, der aber nicht zum Lieferumfang gehört und separat bestellt werden muss.

Given that 8-pole M12 connector is continuously increasing its market share, Binder is now extending its range of 4- and 5-pole angled receptacles to include an 8-pole version. This allows a flat arrangement of the printed circuit board (PCB) in the unit. The contact insert snaps onto the PCB according to the fieldproven principle, and the wave-soldering process used to makes the contacts. The PCB is then assembled inside the unit, where the connector bodies are pushed through the screw-in housing. An optional shielding sheet provides the contact between the housing and the PCB. An 8 x 1 o-ring can be used where required to make the seal between the housing and the contact insert. This o-ring is not included in the scope of delivery and must be ordered separately.

Binder is continuously expanding its product program for POWER panel mount connectors. Effective immediately, we can supply male and female panel mount connectors with rear-mount housing connections and single wires. The connectors are assembled on the customer housing by screwing them to the front panel or by a fixing nut with M16 x 1.5 fixing thread from our standard accessories range. The housings have an anti-torsion safety device with 13.5 mm size on the mounting side. Because the installation dimensions of the housing are identical with A-, B- and D-coding, the panel mount connectors can be easily replaced. The connector systems are used for AC power supplies.

Binder has extended the POWER range of panel mount connectors and is now offering versions with M20 x 1.5 fixing thread. The male and female panel mount connectors can either be screwed into a housing using M20 x 1.5 screws or fastened to the housing that has a through hole using a nut from our range of accessories. The connectors are fully assembled with AWG 16, 200 mm long, single wires. Because the installation dimensions of the housing are identical with A-, B- and D-coding, the panel mount connectors can be replaced without difficulty. The connectors are used for AC power supplies.

Die Stecksysteme finden Anwendung bei der DC-Spannungsversorgung.

Binder is continuously expanding its product program for POWER panel mount connectors. Effective immediately, we can supply male and female panel mount connectors with rear-mount housing connections and single wires or dip-solder contacts. The connectors are assembled on the customer housing by screwing them to the front panel or by a fixing nut with M16 x 1.5 fixing thread from our standard accessories range. The housings have an anti-torsion safety device with 13.5 mm size on the mounting side. Because the installation dimensions of the housing are identical with A-, B- and D-coding, the panel mount connectors can be easily replaced. The connector systems are used for DC power supplies.

Zur Erweiterung des Produktprogramms der Power-Steckverbinder bietet Binder jetzt auch Versionen mit Befestigungsgewinde M20 x 1,5 an. Die Flanschstecker und -dosen können entweder in ein Gehäuse mit M20 x 1,5 eingeschraubt oder im Gehäuse mit Durchgangsbohrung mit Mutter aus unserem Zubehör befestigt werden. Die Steckverbinder sind mit AWG 16 Litzen mit Länge 200 mm fertig konfektioniert. Binder has extended the POWER range of panel mount connectors and is now offering versions with M20 x 1.5 fixing thread. The male and female panel mount connectors can either be screwed into a housing using M20 x 1.5 screws or fastened to the housing that has a through hole using a nut from our range of accessories. The connectors are fully assembled with AWG 16, 200 mm long, single wires. Because the installation dimensions of the housing are identical with A-, B- and D-coding, the panel mount connectors can be replaced without difficulty. The connectors are used for DC power supplies.

Die M12-Steckverbinderbaureihe von Binder wird jetzt durch einen Datensteckverbinder zur Übertragung bis 10Gbit/s für industrielle Anwendungen erweitert. Die hohe Bandbreite wird dadurch sicher gestellt, dass die vier Paare durch ein Schirmkreuz - X-Kodierung - übertragungstechnisch getrennt sind. Die Zukunftsfähigkeit der Ethernetverkabelung mit dem Trend zur Übertragung von großen Datenmengen wird hiermit gesichert. Die M12 X-Kodierung entspricht der IEC 61076-2-109 und stellt damit die weltweite Steckkompatibilität zwischen verschiedenen Herstellern sicher. Diese Kodierung wird auch von verschiedenen Ethernet-Nutzerorganisationen, wie z. B. PROFINET für Breitbandübertragung vorgeschrieben. Der Übergang in die IP20-Welt wird durch einen RJ45 CAT 6A Steckverbinder realisiert. Das Lieferprogramm umfasst Flansch- und Einbaudosen zur Geräteintegration, konfektionierbare Kabelsteckverbinder mit Schneidklemmanschluss für Querschnitte von AWG 27 bis AWG 22 und Kabeldurchmesser von 5,5–9 mm, konfektionierbare RJ45-Steckverbinder und umspritzte Verbindungsleitungen M12/M12 oder M12/RJ45.

The Binder M12 connector series now includes a data connector for transmissions up to 10 Gbit/s for industrial applications. The high bandwidth is guaranteed by isolating the four pairs from one another by a shield cross - X-coding - for separation of the transmissions. This ensures that the Ethernet wiring will remain compatible with the trend to transmission of high volumes of data. The M12 X-coding conforms to IEC 61076-2-109 to ensure connector compatibility throughout the world between different manufacturers. This coding is also specified for broadband transmission by various Ethernet user organisations such as PROFINET. Entry to the world of IP20 is implemented by a RJ45 CAT 6A connector. The product range includes female panel mount connectors and integrated sockets for device integration, connectors for assembly with IDT-connection for cross-sections from AWG 27 to AWG 22 and cable diameters from 5.5 to 9 mm, RJ45 connectors for assembly and injection-moulded connecting cords with M12/M12 or M12/RJ45.
