28 Jahre Pop – Punk – Rock – Alternative! THE NERVES aus Stuttgart kreuzen melodischen Pop-Punk-Rock mit japanischen, deutschen und englischen Texten sowie asiatischen Instrumenten, wie Shakuhachi (japanische Flöte) und Rebab (asiatisches Streichinstrument). Die Band, bestehend aus Nina H. (v), Cpt. Proton (g), Adm. Jack (b) und Cmdr. Bossi (dr), gründete sich bereits 1987 und hat mit ihrem 8. Album 'Leaving the ashes' (2014) im Eigenvertrieb ohne Label oder Management schon wieder keinen Trend bedient. In 2010 übernahm die charismatische Gothik-Sängerin Nina H. mit ihrem meterhohen Iro das Erbe von Minnie Satellite und sang erstmalig auf dem in 2012 erschienenen Album 'Back to bat', welches in Tulsa Oklahoma von Stephen Egerton (Descendents, All) gemischt wurde. THE NERVES waren immer eine ganz eigene Spezies im PunkrockUniversum, nicht leicht assimilier-, doch immer sonder-, wunder-, hörbar. The band with its members Nina H. (v), Cpt. Proton (g), Adm. Jack (b) and Cmdr. Bossi (dr) was founded in 1987 and again didn't satisfy the mainstream trend with their 8th album 'Leaving the ashes' (2014) in direct selling without any label or management behind. In 2010 the charismatic gothic female singer Nina H. with her meter high mohawk took over the legacy of Minnie Satellite and sang for the first time on the 2012 album 'Back to bat', which was mixed in Tulsa Oklahoma by Stephen Egerton (Descendents, All). THE NERVES were always a very unique species within the punk rock universe, not easily assimilable, but always weird, wonderful and nice to hear.
