Diego Gutierrez Zrii's first ruby is flying high! “Zrii is an opportunity to change the conscience of every human being. It is an opportunity to balance all aspects of your life: health, prosperity, internal peace and service to others,” says Single Ruby Diego Gutierrez from Colombia. “When we have all of this we are truly happy.” Perhaps it is his experience as a commercial airline pilot that gives Diego his expansive vision. The way he sees it: each of us is seated in the cockpit at the controls of our own life. The question is: how many of us fly through our days on autopilot? We do the same things in the same way. We think the same thoughts. We’re on a trajectory, but are we navigating as the pilot, charting our own course, or merely as a passenger in a plane flown by someone else to a destination we didn’t choose? One day you wake up and ask that question. And by asking you open yourself up to receiving the answer. Take Off Diego’s story begins in Medellin, in a neighborhood called Malibu. He remembers it as a jewel of a city blooming with exotic flowers, surrounded by green mountains and bathed in spring-like weather throughout the year. studied dentistry at Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud (CES). But then he returned to his first love, flying. “Ever since I was a child I wanted to be a pilot. It was my passion: I was always playing with airplanes and I was fond of flight simulators,” he says. So he transferred to the Academia Antioqueña de Aviación (AAA) and earned his pilot’s license. He was flying commercial aircraft about 15 days a month when a dear friend introduced him to Zrii. At this friend’s house, 10-Star Juan Fernando delivered the business presentation. “I joined the same day that Zrii was presented to me: September 30th, 2013,” he recalls. Although he was skeptical about network marketing, Zrii’s leadership and the support captured his attention. The products fit his active lifestyle. The prosperity plan was generous. And most of all, the thought of being a Zrii pioneer in Colombia motivated him. “When I started the business I already saw myself as a Ruby,” says Diego. “From the beginning I took this business very seriously and I outlined my short-term goals, mid-term goals and long-term goals. Since I didn’t have any experience in network marketing, I did what I was told to do. I took advantage and maximized Zrii’s business system. The company offers us many tools to train us and make

us professionals. I listen to all the webinars and CDs, read books, and go to the opportunity meetings. I follow the plan of action laid out for me and I teach it to the new IEs as soon as possible because it is very important for teamwork, duplicating and leverage.” Zrii is now a family affair. His wife Natalia is a dentist and 9-Star Independent Executive. Together they have a beautiful 4-year-old daughter named Valentina. “We make a great team and we have excellent zinergy,” he says. His day begins early when he helps his daughter get ready for school. Then he goes out running or heads to the gym, generally three times a week. And he works his Zrii business about 5 hours a day. The Sky’s the Limit Although his business started to grow from the moment he joined, it wasn’t until he attended the Latin American Leadership Academy in Peru that he reached new heights. There he met Zrii Founder and CEO Bill Farley, and company President A.K. Khalil. Tough Times Don’t Last, But Tough People Do Married on a catamaran off the coast of St. John’s Island, this passionate and dynamic couple now call Jamestown, North Carolina home. Before joining Zrii, Christina was an entrepreneur, international trainer and motivational success coach. Todd had 18 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. It’s easy to look at the Perrys and think they were handed their success – that everything has always turned out perfectly for them. But in reality there was a lot of hard work and many struggles. Overcoming adversity has been a long-running theme in their lives. Christina grew up in a family of modest means. When she was just five years old, her mother died in a car crash. As an adult she survived a broken marriage, life as a single mom, and a high risk pregnancy. With her new husband she faced the difficult taste of forming a blended family with her daughter Alexandra and his son Christopher from previous marriages. Todd suffered from kidney failure and needed a transplant. His deteriorating health made it difficult for them to conceive their son Parker. of our dreams, desire, and purpose in life. Even though some people feel like they’ve lost their passion or never had any to begin with, in reality we all have passion or we wouldn’t be alive. The reason why so many people feel bored, lost, or adrift in life is that they have become disconnected from their deepest desires. As we grow up, some of us receive the message that we don’t deserve to have desires, that what we want is unacceptable, or that it’s wrong or selfish to go after our dreams. Or we may feel powerless and think, “Why bother having desires when they will never be fulfilled anyway?” We then suppress our desires, even to the point where we’re no longer consciously aware of their existence. No matter how deeply we’ve buried our desires, they are a force of evolution and growth that can never be completely halted. When we reconnect to what our soul is yearning for, we will find ourselves naturally expressing our passion and experiencing the expansion of happiness in our life. Here is a simple practice you can use to connect to your true desires: Step 1: Cultivate Inner Quiet Begin by sitting quietly for a few minutes and connecting to the experience of stillness and silence. Then ask what your heart deeply desires and yearns to express and listen quietly for an honest response. For the time being, don’t fixate on any one response; let the journey move wherever it wants. This step also requires you to develop trust in your inner voice. As the process deepens, you will gain insight into whether a desire is coming from your ego or your true self. Step 2: Reflect and Stay Open Ask yourself, What are my unique gifts and talents? How can I use them to bring happiness to others and to myself? Answers always come, but what I have discovered is that many people have such a strong filtering mechanism that they won’t even entertain certain responses and say that they aren’t getting any answers. The important thing when you are listening for an answer is to not immediately reject what comes to mind just because it doesn’t match your preconceptions.

What are my unique gifts and talents? How can I use them to bring happiness to others and to myself?

Just dig in deep and find out what really matters to you. Keep at it and don’t settle for thoughts such as I don’t know what I have to offer others or I’m not really great at anything. Don’t let yourself get stuck in notions that your passion has to translate into work that you do for the rest of your life, or that it has to be grand or spiritual. Let it grow out of what you are doing today, right now, so that you find meaning and value in your present as well. Step 3: Let Your Awareness Expand Continue doing the first two steps daily, spending time in inner quiet, reflecting on your unique gifts and how you could use them, and writing down your responses as they evolve over time. Over the next few weeks, let the answers accumulate, whether they are repetitive or contradictory, or both. After a month, take some time to consider the ways in which your desires and your gifts have found expression. SERGIO BLANCO Architect of Success in Nicaragua “Getting to 8-Star in two months DOESN'T happen by accident. It’s the byproduct of being mentally strong,” explains Sergio Raúl Blanco Barquero. “The day after I joined Zrii I presented the products and opportunity to ten people and they all said no. The next day the same thing happened.”

Watching this unfold, his brother and sister grew worried. They told him there was no way people were going to buy $500 or $1,000 worth of products. So, being a person who welcomes challenges and does things right once he gets involved, Sergio reexamined his approach to presentations. “I know this: my thoughts produce actions, and my actions produce results. So if my thoughts are negative, my actions will be negative and so will my results.” Then he had a breakthrough moment: “It’s not enough to have good thoughts to produce good results. We must all have extraordinary thoughts to produce extraordinary results.” The turnaround began slowly at first. He signed up one, then two people, but the momentum kept building. A favorite moment was the day he noticed an $8,000 deposit in his bank account. Blueprints for a Dream Born in Juigalpa, Chontales, Nicaragua, where there are so many dairy cattle that the locals joke about rivers flowing with milk and rocks made of cheese, Sergio grew up wanting to be an architect. As a child he built houses from Legos, large complex structures sometimes consisting of thousands of pieces. At university he studied architecture. This dream of building something magnificent propelled him forward. At 21, to earn a living, he started selling an English lessons course. By his third month he became a supervisor. At eight months he became sales manager. By the time he reached his first year, the company sent him to Bolivia to be general manager. Perhaps he was such a natural at sales because of an early lesson taught by his grandmother. “When I was small she would give me a bag of candy, caramels, and marshmallows and I would sell them in school,” he recalls. “The thing is she would never give me spending money. She would just give me the candies and I did the rest.” When an opportunity to join another company sent him to El Salvador, he met a beautiful woman who would become his wife. They have two children, an 11-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son. Other jobs in other countries followed until he returned to Nicaragua to work with the largest pharmaceutical distributor in the country.

Despite his considerable success, there was still something missing. As he looked to the future he wanted financial freedom. “I do want to have peace of mind that my family won’t be lacking in anything,” he comments. “I don’t want to be 60 and still working. I believe that by that age I should be enjoying what I have accomplished in life.” By happy coincidence in September 2013, a good friend talked to him about Zrii. It was the first time he had ever thought about network marketing. What attracted him immediately was the opportunity to achieve financial freedom, the leadership and the support Zrii provides. “I have always loved challenges,” says Sergio. “I entered with a vision to develop a business as well as to help people consume these healthy products. The training is the most important thing that one has to do in order to be successful in this business. You need consistency and dedication as well as teamwork. Network marketing isn’t easy, but it is simple.” Since the day he joined he has dedicated himself to making presentations every day of every week. He tells those he recruits a simple truth about achieving financial freedom: “This is an everyday thing from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. So forget about everything else but Zrii. If you want to go to the movies, go out to dinner, or do anything else, you’ll have to do it later. He works not with stone or steel, but with human hopes and dreams. The structure he has created continues to grow organically, adding rooms and branches. This organization is more breathtaking than any amazing building—because it features majestic doors that open whenever new people want to enter, verandas that overlook waterfalls of opportunity, sparkling glass elevators moving up to greater prosperity—all built on heart and teamwork. How has he done it? Sergio credits Zrii’s training combined with 15 years of experience working in other business environments. “It’s because of that combination that Nicaragua is exploding,” he says. “We move forward based on the creation and development of teams that are invested in the business.
