WHY AMNESIA - A ROCK ALTERNATIVE

WHY AMNESIA is a female fronted Rock Export straight from the heart of Germany. Influenced by international acts like Skunk Anansie, Slash and Die Happy, Shirley Golightly (vocals), Theus Caster (lead guitar), Sanni Wea (rhythm guitar), Marv Kuschke (bass guitar) and Ingo Nieporte (drums) are much more than just a stylistic sum of their idols. In 2015 the quintet released GODIVA, the second studio album, which is available in all established online shops and offers a wide musical range from straight rocksongs and mid-tempo tracks to passionate and sensitive ballads. In addition to a powerful live appearance, WHY AMNESIA strike a thoughtful note with their lyrics and position themselves clearly against war, violence and racism WHY AMNESIA put a lot of power and energy in their live performances, and as they love to be on stage, they performed about 50 shows in Germany over the past three years – upward trend. Also they started working on songs for album no. 3.
