What you need This pattern is designed for stable knits – preferably jacquard jersey, summer sweat/French Terry, Hacci, and so on. In case you intend to use very stretchy or thin fabrics, such as viscose it might be advisable to choose one size smaller. The cuffs are meant to be out of cuff fabric. In case of using jersey or sweat please add 1 – 1,5cm (0,4“-0,59”) more allowance to the arm cuffs. Otherwise they might turn out to be too tight. In order to upgrade your ‘Katie’ you might add special clasps, such as buckles, buttons, toggle buttons and so on. Furthermore, you could put in a cord in the hooded version. Therefore you will need two eyelets and a cord.
