Durch ein digitales Fertigungsverfahren (Stereolithographie) einer so genannten Schichtbauweise, werden komplizierte Bauelemente wie Halterungen oder Verriegelungen

und winzige Kanäle am Computer designed und danach mit einem Laser im Schmelzverfahren in einem einzigen Werkgang gefertigt. Mit herkömmlichen Techniken oder bei der Fertigung von Kunststoffgehäusen wären fix eingebaute Elektronikbauteile niemals in dieser Präzision und Stabilität möglich. Neuroth ist weltweit der einzige Anbieter, der Hörgeräteschalen aus Titan mit dieser innovativen Technik fertigt.

Neuroth has developed a laser melting process for manufacturing titanium hearing aid covers. Laser technology and the modern material titanium are used to produce ultra-light hearing aid covers just two tenths of a millimetre thick. Complex components such as fastenings, locking devices and minute channels are digitally produced (stereolithography) in so-called sandwich construction - designed

on the computer and then manufactured using laser melting in one single process. Rapidly integrating electronics components with this level of precision and robustness would not be possible with conventional techniques or during the plastic cover manufacturing process. Neuroth is the only company in the world which produces titanium hearing aid covers using this innovative technology.
