Final assessment Part II – 50 points possible You must compose a short message of between 130-140 characters – just like in Twitter – completely in Spanish! If you want to send it as a text message you can send it to the same number as the voicemail, but you must include your first and last name in the text, which will not count toward the word count. If you want to turn it in on paper, I will give you a form with 140 boxes to fill out for the word count. Your message should be one sentence about what you used to do as a small child. You must use the imperfect tense for this!
Common phrases to speak about your childhood Cuando yo era niñ@... When I was a child… Siempre me gustaba… I always liked… (use verb in infinitive next) Todos los días… Every day… (verb in the imperfect) See all the past worksheets we completed in class… Here is an example: Cuando yo era niña siempre caminaba por el río con mi abuelo. Íbamos todos los días con el perro. Me gustaba comer manzanas de la montaña. Q: What counts as a character? A: Any letter, space or punctuation counts as one character.
