Hosted by Debby and Roger Dormire and Keith and Marian Fielder, the Epiphany Party on Monday January 6th began with a potluck dinner at 6 o’clock, followed by the infamous “white elephant” gift exchange. This year the “cow tea kettle” was the item that switched owners most often, with a wild red wig a close second. The iguana once again went home with a member of the Hopkins family. And a good time was had by all!

Youth News High School Happening Retreat Coming Up Next Month! February 14-16 there is a “Happening Retreat” at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Oakland. Happening is a retreat designed by high school students for high school students that includes fun activities, small group discussions, exciting worship, and much more. I am planning to take a group of youth from St. Paul’s to the retreat. We will leave Friday, February 14 at 5:00pm, and we will return Sunday around 7:00pm. Un retiro para estudiantes de la secundaria viene el próximo mes! El 14-16 de febrero hay un retiro que se llama “Happening” en La Iglesia de San Juan, Oakland. “Happening” es un retiro diseñado por los estudiantes de la secundaria por otros estudiantes que incluye actividades divertidos, discusiones es grupos pequeños, misas vibrantes y mucho más! Voy a tomar un grupo de jóvenes de San Pablo al retiro. Salimos viernes, el 14 de febrero a las 5 de la tarde, y regresamos a las 7 de la noche del domingo el 16.
