Sunset and starlit sky music – words, which the band Shaky Foundation have once used themselves to describe their style of music. Consequently a night ride in the car on outlying misty roads seems to be well suited to get in touch with their first studio album “Psychonaut“. With these twelve dreamy and spherical tracks the musicians accomplished a feat: They create a microcosm that seems to be infinite. Max (vocals, e-guitar), Sebastian (e-bass, synthies) and Jannis (drums, vocals) have never intended to sound like any other band and whoever listens to their debut LP indeed has to think long about when and where he has heard something at least rudimentarily similar before. Definitely it doesn’t sound like something created by three 19-year-olds at all.
