Parkview Trauma Centers Share the Road Campaign Kick-Off

Dr. Lottenberg is currently a trauma surgeon at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He is a former associate professor of surgery and anesthesiology in the the Division of Acute Care Surgery, Department of Surgery, University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Fla. After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, he received his graduate education from Miami University in Miami, Fla., and completed his surgical residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Fla.

Megan Brenner, MD, MS, RPVI, FACS, Trauma Surgeon

Dr. Brenner serves as a trauma and vascular surgeon at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Md. She is also an assistant professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Whittier College in Whittier, Calif., she earned her graduate degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth College in Richmond, Va. She completed her general surgery residency at UCLA Medical Center, David Geffen School of Medicine in Los Angeles, Calif. She completed a Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, University of Maryland, in Baltimore, an Endovascular Surgery Fellowship at Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz., and a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. She has extensive trauma experience with a special interest in endovascular hemorrhage control techniques.

Michelle Laughlin, MD, Trauma Surgeon Dr. Laughlin is a trauma surgeon at Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, Ind., and an assistant professor at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She completed her undergraduate work at Ball State University in Muncie, Ind., and earned her medical degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis. She completed her General Surgery Residency and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

Jon Mansfield, NREMT-P, Paramedic/Firefighter Mr. Mansfield performed an emergency field amputation in October 2013. He currently is a full-time paramedic and firefighter at New Haven – Adams Township Fire & EMS in New Haven, Ind., and Northeast Fire & EMS in Grabill, Ind. He earned his undergraduate degree at Indiana University-Purdue University, Fort Wayne, Ind. He completed his paramedic training at the Adams Memorial Hospital Paramedic Program. He is a former paramedic with Three Rivers Ambulance Authority in Fort Wayne and MultiTownship EMS in Warsaw, Ind.

Leslie Cook, RN, MDI, SANE-A, SANE-P, Forensic Nurse Specialist Ms. Cook is a forensic nurse examiner at the Fort Wayne Sexual Assault Treatment Center in Fort Wayne, Ind., and serves as the Adams County, Ind., coroner. She completed her undergraduate nursing education from Purdue University in Fort Wayne. She is a Certified Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE-P) and a Certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, SANE-A.

John Zagelmeier, BS, Detective Mr. Zagelmeier is currently a detective with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department in Fort Wayne, Ind. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Mich. His specialties include criminal interview, interrogation and polygraphy.
