This is a retrospective study in which we analyzed data obtained since 2010 from 26 patients diagnosed with chronic refractory urinary symptoms,to whom the implantation of InterStim was indicated as an alternative treatment. Multiple demographic and clinical variables were taken into consideration, such as:daily and nocturnal urinary frequency, presence of incontinence, urgency and pain sensation. Feeling of improvement, follow-up time and complications were also evaluated for all patients. We conducted a descriptive analysis of frequencies, contingency tables and mean differences using SPSS 15 statistical program.
