MISSION OPPORTUNITIES

Carole Booker plans to return to Nepal this summer to teach Bible lessons and help the girls at Women’s Rescue Nepal, a safehouse for at-risk girls. Last year the safe house had 36 girls—this year there are 73 with more on the way! This year, Meena Sundaresan and Diana Sanchez plan to join Carole. Meena’s youth will help the girls identify with her as she teaches them about her conversion from Hinduism to Christianity. Diana plans to help the girls through art therapy and set up a non-profit to aid them on an on-gong basis. She will teach them craft skills to go along with their sewing skills, which will help them learn to support themselves. If you would like to contribute to their trip, you can make your checks payable to Westbury Church of Christ with “Nepal Mission” in the memo or you may give online at westburycoc.com.
