New Safe Environment If you are interested in volunteering to work with children or other susceptible persons within the parish, you will need access www.CMGConnect.org and take the “Safe Haven” test. This program is indorsed by Catholic Mutual Group, the Dioceses of Santa Rosa’s insurance company. The “Safe Haven” program can be access by using the website www.CMGConnect.org. Please use the same password that you used before. If you do not remember your old password. Do not create another one; this will complicate the process for you. Instead, contact me, your parish Safe Environment Coordinator. I will be able to contact the diocese and retrieve your password for you. If you are thinking of volunteering and you have never created a profile, this would be a good time to begin and the first step would be to go to the same web address www.CMGConnect.org. Choose Santa Rosa as your diocese and take the test “Safe Haven”, just follow the steps to complete this 90-minute test. You will also have to be fingerprinted to have a background check. Forms to take to the Del Norte Sheriff’s Office to complete the background check can be acquired at the parish office or you may contact me. There is no charge to the volunteer. Saint Joseph’s parish welcomes new and the returning volunteers. As Safe Environment Coordinator, I am here to help assist you in keeping our parish safe for our children.
