INFORMATION FOR PRESCHOOL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES IN MCDADE 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR McDade Independent School District will be conducting a screening for children who will be three or four years of age on or before September 1 of the current year, and who are suspected of having a possible developmental delay in the areas of speech, physical development, learning ability, or who have a serious health problem. The screening will be held at McDade ISD on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 by appointment only and on Friday, August 30, 2019 between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. The Early Childhood screening consists of simple tasks such as identifying pictures and colors, repeating numbers and answering various questions. A parent or legal guardian must sign permission for the screening and fill out various forms related to the child’s background and health. The screening will take approximately one hour. INFORMACION PARA EL PROGRAMA PREESCOLAR PARA NIÑOS CON INCAPACIDADES EN MCDADE AÑO ESCOLAR 2019-2020 El Distrito Escolar Independiente de McDade llevará a cabo un proceso de detección para los niños que tengan tres a cuatro años de edad en o antes del 1 de septiembre de este año, y que se les sospeche de tener un posible retraso en el desarrollo en las áreas de habla, desarrollo físico, capacidad de aprendizaje, o que tengan un problema grave de salud. La proyección se llevará a cabo en el Distrito Escolar Independiente de McDade el August 28, 2019 entre la cita previa y el August 30, 2019 entre las 9:00 Am y las 12:00 PM. El proceso de detección de la primera infancia consiste en tareas sencillas como identificar imágenes y colores, repitiendo números y respondiendo a varias preguntas. Un padre o tutor legal debe firmar el permiso para el proceso de detección y llenar varias formas relacionadas con los antecedentes y la salud del niño.
