“Galileo System” by Elmac Since 2003, Elmac has developed two very important equipments that help the Operators to manage Ticket Redemption in a very quick and easy way: 1) Mangiatickets Galileo (Ticket Eater): a patented and reliable machine (more then 300 pieces are already working in Italy, England, Spain, Russia). It’s very quick in counting and destroying tickets: 640pieces per minute. The bag can contain up to 90.000 cut tickets. The patented concerns the way tickets are drawing in (two opposite rotary special rubber cylinders) and how they are cut (two helicoidal opposite rotary blades). The “Mangiatickets” has a printer with a cutter (for receipts) and a magnetic card reader to recognize the code of the customer. (The “Mangiatickets Elmac” can be used also stand-alone, without the Operational Kit). 2) Management Kit, consists of: a. Computer with dedicated software WinMT b. 2 LCD monitor 17” c. Omnidirectional bar code reader d. Magnetic card reader/writer (table model) e. Power stabilizer f. High Speed Printer with cutter (table model) These two apparatuses are connected together (with an electric or radio link) and the result is that the customer can choose between: a) get a receipt b) memorize the points into the computer (by a coded magnetic card).

a) with Receipt The Ticket Eater counts and destroys the tickets. As you’ve introduced them, the total amount is shown in the wide 5 digit display and a button light on. Pushing the button you obtain the receipt. The cashier, using the bar code reader, reads and makes the sum of the different receipts. The player chooses the prize on the shop-windows and the cashier deducts the prize from the sum. The cashier confirms on the computer the chosen prize, gives it to the customer and the desk printer prints the change that will be used for another opportunity.

b) with Magnetic Card The cashier takes a new card. The LCD on the cashier’s side shows the page with the list of customers. The operator pushes the button “generate card” and writes the customer’s name. The player introduces tickets on the Mangiaticket and, at the end, the points are added into the memory of the computer. The card has a unique code. Whenever a player passes the card into the “magnetic card writer/reader” (table model) he can see on the LCD’s customer the points he has accumulated the same information is also given by the Mangiatickets display. He chooses a prize and gets it. The operator deducts the points of the prize from the card and the player remains with the difference between the accumulated points and the prize points. This represents only the 30% of the potentialities of the software. You can obtain a lot of other information such as: a) daily, monthly, etc, report of paid prizes; b) tickets counted and points paid, per day; c) total points accumulated by each customer; d) total stock prizes, etc. e) Marketing and bonus for VIP customers, etc.

Utilities - Radio Transmitter System that collects all the information about the Coin IN and Tickets OUT of the redemption and, through the computer and a special Elmac program (Win MT Remote), sends the data to the office. - If the FEC has different sectors with different operators (such as bar, laser tag, bowling lanes, etc), using the Remote Bonus Ticket, you can give to each customer a certain amount of Bonus Tickets. The software of the Management Kit will take care of these Bonus. - A special dispenser (Win Bowling) allows to win tickets from the Bowling Lanes (one Win Bowling for two lanes). - With Win MT Etic, it’s possible to print, in a normal A4 sheet, different size coloured labels with name of the prize, points for the prize, bar code, etc.
