Tree Transducers in Machine Translation, Emmy Noether Project, 2011-present Study of tree-based formalisms for SMT. Designed a composition algorithm for Extended Top-down Tree Transducers. Implementing a training procedure and decoder using a class of tree transducers which allows to deal with source or target side discontinuities. Advised by Andreas Maletti.
