Dopo un lavoro ben fatto c’è chi sceglie di riposare. Noi di Dike preferiamo tuffarci in nuove imprese.
After a job well done, some people like to have rest. We at Dike prefer to dive into new projects. That is how our new workwear line was created: trousers, jackets, sweatshirts, polo shirts and work shirts, all of them in appealing designs, and using technology, just like our shoes. Flexible, slightly elasticated clothes, some of them with layers to stop the wind and rain, and all of which fit the shape of your body – without losing their own shape. Clothes made in Italian cotton, garment-dyed for longer-lasting colours and which will maintain their vintage look, the one we like at Dike, over time. Clothes that can be washed and ironed, even at high temperatures. They told us it was impossible. They told us that a breathable fabric which could keep people warm while wicking humidity away could not also be natural and ecological. They told us that protective workwear which can became even more resistant in adverse conditions, couldn’t be warm and soft on the skin. But at Dike, we aspired to do all that and more. We wanted a range of workwear that was perfect, and different from all the rest. We wanted it to be as good as our shoes are: innovative, comfortable and indestructible but also colourful. Clothes that protect you while at the same time not forsaking looks and the unmistakable Dike style. Who said that wishes can’t come true? Hat man ein zufriedenstellendes Ergebnis erhalten, ruhen sich viele aus. Wir bei Dike stürzen uns in ein neues Abenteuer. So entsteht unsere Workwear Linie: Hosen, Jacken, Sweat-Shirts, Polo-Shirts und T-Shirts zum Arbeiten, alle einnehmend und technologisch, wie unsere Schuhe. Vielseitige und leicht elastische Kleidung, einige laminiert, um Regen und Wind abzuweisen, aber alle sich dem Körper anpassend, ohne ihre eigene Form zu verlieren. Stücke aus italienischer Baumwolle, im Stück gefärbt, um die Farben widerstandsfähiger zu machen und dauerhaft den Vintage-Stil beizubehalten, den wir von Dike so lieben. Bügel- und waschfest auch bei höchsten Temperaturen. Man hat uns gesagt, das wäre unmöglich. Man hat uns gesagt, dass atmungsaktive Kleidung, die die Körperwärme aufrecht hält und die Feuchtigkeit abgibt, nicht auch natürlich und ökologisch sein kann. Man hat uns auch gesagt, dass Arbeitsschutzkleidung die vor Witterungseinflüssen schütz nicht auch warm und angenehm auf der Haut sein kann. Wir von Dike wollten aber all dies und sogar noch mehr. Wir möchten eine perfekte Arbeitskleidungslinie, die sich von den anderen unterscheidet. Wir möchten, dass sie unserer Schuhlinie in Nichts nachsteht: Innovativ, bequem, unverwüstbar, aber bunt. Sie soll schützen, ohne auf die Schönheit und den unverwechselbaren Dike-Stil verzichten zu müssen. Wer hat gesagt, dass Wünsche nicht Wirklichkeit werden?

È così che nasce la nostra linea workwear: pantaloni, felpe, polo e magliette da lavoro, tutti accattivanti e tecnologici come le nostre scarpe. Indumenti flessibili e leggermente elasticizzati, alcuni laminati per fermare la pioggia e il vento, ma tutti capaci di adattarsi alla forma del tuo corpo senza perdere la loro. Capi realizzati in cotone italiano tinto in capo per una maggiore resistenza dei colori, capaci di conservare nel tempo l’aspetto vintage che piace a noi di Dike. Capi a prova di stirature e lavaggi, anche ad altissime temperature. Ci dicevano che era impossibile. Ci dicevano che un tessuto traspirante capace di mantenere il calore del corpo e disperdere l’umidità non può essere anche naturale ed ecologico. Ci dicevano che un’armatura da lavoro capace di aumentare la sua resistenza di fronte alle intemperie non può essere calda e delicata a contatto con la pelle. Noi di Dike, però, pretendevamo tutto questo e anche di più. Volevamo una linea di abbigliamento da lavoro perfetta, diversa da tutte le altre.
La sognavamo all’altezza delle nostre scarpe: innovativa, comoda, indistruttibile ma colorata. Capace di proteggerti senza dover rinunciare alla bellezza e all’inconfondibile stile Dike. Chi ha detto che i desideri non possono diventare realtà?
