NOTE FROM FR. WALSH... I have received permission from the Most Reverend Archbishop to continue studies in the Spanish Language in Mexico. I will be working at the Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Puebla, Mexico. I am leaving this week, and I will return the week of August 6th. Of course, I will be in contact with the parish office here from time to time to check in. In addition to Father Linares, there will be a few other priests pitching in for me while I am gone, among whom are two priests residing here at the rectory: Father Elias Menuba, a retired priest from Nigeria, Africa; and Father Nicholas Tran, a priest of the Archdiocese of Hartford, who is currently a chaplain at St. Francis Hospital and Hartford Hospital. I will pray for you while I am gone, and I ask that you pray for me as well. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
