Die Schnecke – Die Uhrzeit

Print on cardstock and laminate to save for years to come. For games with pictures, if you do not have access to a color printer, project board on screen. 2 - 4 students can play on the same board. Students can use coins, bingo chips, or pieces of paper with their initials as their marker. Determine who goes first (roll the die, closest birthday, earliest in alphabet, etc). Students take turns rolling the die and moving forward the appropriate number of boxes. If you land on a yellow box, follow those directions. Turn passes to next student. If you land on another box, conjugate, identify, or translate, as the particular game requires. o Require a sentence to make it more challenging. o Verbs can be used for any tense. • Determine if students must land exactly on “ende” to win [this version takes more time].
